ThinVoid, a startUp based in Uganda has been voted as the Africa Startup of the year. The award is a contest organized by Bonjour Idée with the support of 50+ partners (international corporations, incubators, chambers of commerce, media, competitive centers, influential blogs).
Tambula, born in 2011, is a program of Thinvoid, a startup that aims at securing motorcycle-taxi professionals, a dominating mode of transportation in Uganda and one of the biggest employers for the youth.
On August 17th many employees of ThoughtWorks Uganda office woke up to the shocking news that office will be closed at the end of year. The apparent reason for the closure is no business visibility in the foreseeable future.
